November 29, 2023 was a freezing cold Wednesday morning. Winter had arrived overnight and we received the first news of delayed trains and canceled flights. We were very happy that so many guests nevertheless found their way to the Speicherstadt in Hamburg, and so we were able to exchange ideas with over 90 participants, listen to exciting keynote speeches together and look back on a great day during an evening boat trip.
The doors opened punctually at 10:00 a.m. for check-in. Equipped with a name badge, the guests passed through the checkroom and made their first stop at the self-check-in terminal. After a short briefing, all guests quickly found their way around the "yard". Less than an hour later, there was the first applause, words of welcome and the introduction of the agenda and moderation.
We had a series of keynotes and talks on various topics lined up for the morning. Andreas and Thomas from the well-known podcast "Irgendwas mit Logistik" led us from one topic to the next in an entertaining way. At lunchtime, there were plenty of opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas with our partners on site: here, Oracle, leogistics, logistics.cloud, Celonis and Star 4 Life invited us to talk at their information stands, shared information and demonstrated the added value of working together.
But there was also a lot to see in the myleo / dsc lounge. Our colleagues provided information on our process solutions, IoT & hardware issues and later also on the exclusive new Ocean Visibility offering.
In the afternoon, there were two more exciting sessions related to myleo / dsc before we took a look at the future and the roadmap of our logistics platform together at around 5:30 pm.
