Keeping track of KPIs with myleo / dsc
Robert Ibisch
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) can be helpful for users to keep track of the performance of certain processes in their daily work. Often, a table export from the operational software is used to derive an evaluation with meaningful performance indicators. Possible questions could be, for example: What is the capacity utilization at my loading gates in the coming week? Or: How many of my orders have my suppliers already notified? A basic understanding of the table functions is definitely beneficial here.
In myleo / dsc, however, no in-depth table processing knowledge is required to display KPIs. Besides, you also save valuable time and can create the KPIs according to your ideas. To do this, first determine the business area for which you need a KPI, for example:
- Utilization of loading gates
- Status of orders (not notified, notified, partially notified)
- Status deliveries (early, on time, late, overdue)
- Status of tenders
Customize relevant KPIs according to your needs
How you use the individual KPIs depends entirely on your ideas and requirements. In myleo / dsc, the KPIs can be related to individual stakeholders (e.g., individual forwarders or company-wide), time periods (e.g., past-related or live), as well as individual locations such as loading gates, and much more. In addition, you can choose between different display formats, such as bar chart, donut chart, etc.
The KPIs are embedded in each of the individual features of myleo / dsc, but can also be displayed together in an overview to provide a full overview on one display page. The handling is designed in such a way that you as a user are enabled to create and manage your KPI instances independently. The KPIs can be created for the respective business area for several users. At the same time, spreadsheet lovers have the option of exporting any list from myleo / dsc to an external reporting program.
Share KPIs with partners
Another advantage that comes with KPI usage is the collaboration functionality of myleo / dsc. This means that not only you, but also your business partners who collaborate with you on the platform, get an overview of the KPIs and can view the reporting. The view of the respective partners is thereby tailored to the areas or documents that are relevant for them. For example, if your supplier still has open orders, he can see this at a glance in the corresponding KPI. If your forwarder is not on time with his current deliveries, this is also reflected back to him.
Accordingly, by using the KPI function in myleo / dsc, you achieve a higher degree of transparency and can reduce costs and save time. Because time-consuming KPI evaluations are a thing of the past with myleo / dsc.
